Getting to know Q
An introductory 30-minute call where you as a candidate will meet with one of the Q Talent Acquisition Specialists. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your experience and for you to gain insight into our company and the exciting projects you could be a part of.

Evaluation*
Depending on the role, the second step in our hiring process may involve a take-home assignment tailored to the specific technology you are proficient in.

Q Tech Call
This is a second call, where you’ll dive deeper into your technical expertise and specific experience with the Engineering Lead or a Senior Engineer.

Client evaluation*
In close collaboration with our clients, we ensure they are actively involved in the hiring process. This phase typically involves one or two steps, conducted directly with the clients themselves.

Feedback
At Q Agency, feedback is an integral part of our culture. You can expect comprehensive feedback at every stage of the process. Whatever the outcome, we’ll keep you in the loop and explain our decisions.

Do you offer remote working?
Q is a remote-first company. However, we also have an office located in Zagreb, where all employees are welcome. Ultimately, you are free to choose your preferred working arrangement, whether it’s on-site, fully remote, or hybrid.
Is there an opportunity to switch between projects?
Yes! While many of our projects are long-term, we understand that, at times, a project change is necessary to improve motivation and foster growth in new areas.
What happens if my project ends?
If your project comes to an end, you will be reassigned to a new project as soon as possible. If it happens that you have some time between projects we usually assign you to an internal project to improve your skillset.
Do you work with the latest technologies?
We strive to incorporate the latest technologies into our projects. However, we ensure that all technologies are thoroughly researched and vetted before implementation to guarantee their suitability.
What equipment do you provide?
We offer top-tier equipment, including ThinkPad or MacBook laptops. Additionally, we provide monitors, mice, keyboards, and headsets to ensure a fully equipped work environment.
What's next after a senior role?
Senior employees can pursue two paths — the Principal role, focusing on tech expertise and strategic development, or the Center of Excellence role, emphasising innovation, client engagement, and mentorship. Leadership roles are also an option.
