Your role


  • Working on a high-traffic global news website, ensuring the quality and reliability of its apps and websites.

  • Manual and exploratory testing of web applications.

  • Functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across desktop, mobile, and tablet.

  • Utilizing JIRA for defect tracking and management.

  • Performing browser compatibility and SEO testing.

  • Designing comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and procedures.

  • Participating across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Working closely with other team members, including testers, project managers, and developers, while also working independently.



 


What do we expect?


  • Manual Testing: Strong proficiency in manual and exploratory testing within a fast-paced web environment.

  • Device Testing: Experience in functional and integration testing across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

  • Defect Tracking: Proficiency in using JIRA for tracking and managing software defects.

  • Web Technologies: Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, and SQL.

  • Programming: Basic knowledge of programming languages.

  • Testing Documentation: Experience in designing and implementing test plans and procedures.

  • Agile Environment: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment.

  • Communication: Advanced English language skills and excellent communication abilities.



 


And it would be awesome if you…


  • Have extensive experience with exploratory testing in high-traffic environments.

  • Are highly adaptable to different tools and ways of working.
