CEBIT is the largest and most international computer expo. The trade fair is held each year in Hannover, Germany. It is considered a barometer of current trends and a measure of the state of the art in information technology.

“Escape to Croatia”

The escape box was the highlight of the stand as it attracted visitors from outside and provided the unique experience of a prize contest on the inside. The interior of the box was completely dark, with gravel on the door and the scent of lavender in the air providing its visitors a glimpse into Croatia’s natural beauty, something that the lucky winner will experience in reality. A quiz about Q and Croatia was played in the middle of the box on a mounted tablet PC as white strips of light circle around the visitor, counting down the quiz time. Through the quiz, visitors could learn about the company and its cultural context but also enter the lottery to win a trip to Croatia.

At the end of the game, the light strips stop at the exit of the box showed the visitor a way out of the box and into the quick talk area, where the visitor could meet people from the company and arrange a meeting to discuss potential collaboration.
